ON Sunday 29 July 2012 the Granite Belt Uniting Church celebrated Blue Care Sunday at their church in Stanthorpe.

Staff, committee members and volunteers were present for the service by retired Blue Care Chaplain Rev Allan Baker on enduring love while Business Services Manager Sandra Bamberry lit the blue candle to represent the special role of Blue Care.

Chairman of the Blue Care Committee John Morrison thanked all present for their support.

Granite Belt Uniting Church thanks Blue Care Queensland for this special occasion and support over time.

Many things have changed since Blue Care commenced in Stanthorpe – but not the wonderful work ethic and the willingness to go the extra mile.
