Celebrating 40 years of ordination

Several Ministers and their spouses gathered at the home of Trevor and Dawn Foote in October to celebrate 40 years of ordination.

They remembered how hot the Monday night 17 October 1966 was in the Albert Street Methodist Church when they were ordained.

A long sermon was delivered by the Ex-President of the Conference the Rev. C. L. Williams while Dawn Foote had to struggle with three restless children under five years of age.

The Ordination Certificates were signed by the President Rev A.C. Hawley and the Secretary Rev I.W. Alcorn.

Each Minister and spouse shared highlights of their ministry journey over the 40 years, and their six years of probation prior to ordination.
