The Young Adults Mission Immersion Weekend to be held on April 8-9 is an opportunity for young adults to hear stories from returnees from volunteer placements, both overseas and within Australia.
It also enables young people to hear experiences from guests from partner churches and migrant-ethnic communities, to discover more about opportunities to serve within Australia and overseas, to share in worship with a cross-cultural flavour, to discover more about a ‘mission mindset’, and to explore ‘what on earth God is doing’.
The weekend will be held at Margate Conference Centre in Queensland and is fully catered. It is being is jointly coordinated by the QLD Youth and Children’s Ministry Unit (YACMU), Uniting International Mission in the Queensland Synod and the national office of Uniting International Mission.
The cost for the weekend is generously subsidised by UIM to enable a good turnout of young adults.
