This is a great little book (only 126 pages) for those of us that are busy and can’t always read a huge novel or long chapters each day.
The book is in 4 sections: Ourselves, Jesus Life, Jesus Death and Resurrection and God.
Within each section there are small stories (reflections) that may only be a page long or maybe 2or 3 pages of reading.
This means that on a busy day you may be able to read one story and on others read more.
The reflections are in easy to read language so that the reader can easily read one or two in a short space of time.
Some of the reflections are quite thought provoking so that you may only want to read that one and allow time to ponder on it rather than go on reading.
Another great aspect of it is that you can put it down after reading one little reflection and if you don’t get back to it for a few days you don’t have to worry that you have lost the thread of the story as one reflection doesn’t depend on the previous reflection to make sense.
I found it was good to read as an early morning devotion as I could then think on the ideas during the day.
