Rev Dr Sue Algate Celebrates Thirty Years as a Minister of the Word

On a warm day, the 15 November 2008, the Nanango Uniting Church Parish, along with many friends, family and members of her other parishes, helped Rev Sue celebrate the 30th Anniversary of her Ordination.

A ‘Service of Celebration’ was led by Rev John and Rev Heather Selwood and Judy Jerrard sang especially for Sue.
The ‘Gallilee Song’ was sung by the congregation as it was at Sue’s Ordination Service thirty years ago.
A Fellowship Tea followed the service with the sharing of stories and memories, cutting the cake and a gift from the congregations. All in all it was a very special afternoon for everyone. Congratulations, Sue.
