Author of twenty-four books, Jolene Roehlkepartian has again brought us a treasure for Christian education programs.
In this publication are 101 opportunities to help children make friends at church and help create a sense of community that can be sustained.
The latter is a significant factor in the current social scene.
Children who arrive at a church are usually from a variety of schools, probably have different ethnic backgrounds and certainly live in many different suburbs.
These games are not designed for children’s talks in a worship service but for informal gatherings such as Kid’s Clubs and Sunday School classes.
In the 101 activities there are 25 games for pre-schoolers, 25 for next age group and so on up to the age of 12.
Each game has the headings: Topic, Scripture, Familiarity between Children and Materials needed.
For many of the games no specific materials are needed.
101 Games That Keep Kids Coming finishes with a Scripture index and a topical index.
There are simple graphics on each page.
This is an attractively designed simple resource for any leader of children. Highly recommended
