THIS book truly opens up a world of prayer.

You just cannot read it; you need to contemplate with its contributors: a multitude of men and women of the Spirit.

You find out why their prayers are important to them — what difference their communication with the Divine has made to them and perhaps, if you are truly blessed, you will find yourself engaged with discussion and dreaming with God.

I am sure you will be touched like I was.

My favorite meditation came from Martha Postlethwaite and here are some of the words she wrote: "Do not try to save the whole world or do anything grandiose. Instead, create a clearing in the dense forest of your life …."

The book contains a truly remarkable collection of prayers. On its pages you also find writings and thoughts which have inspired —from the Bible; Qur'an; Vedic traditions; and Burnum Burnum to mention a few.

The readers travel in the esteemed company of Professor Doctor Hans Küng; the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and many others — all of them living today!

You come to realize that the whole world truly is engaged in prayer today according to their traditions and God-view.

We have all been made of the same cloth – just the weaves are different.

A truly remarkable book!
