The CD ROM is basically the whole book on CD which makes the talks, guided meditations, etc, electronically accessible. It provides the opportunity for development, adaption, etc without having to reproduce the whole thing.
The book is presented in three parts; Getting Started, Themed Resources for Quiet Days and Prayers and Blessings for use in Closing Worship.
The book offers sample programs and touches on the practical aspects of retreats such as; accessibility, noise, distance, checklist of items required, cost, music suggestions, etc.
Creative Ideas for Quiet Days is a comprehensive resource for anyone who is interested in setting up quiet days.
This book would enable a person who has never facilitated a quiet day/retreat to do just that, the resources would also help the development process for people who have facilitated quiet days but never designed one.
This is an easy and readable resource!
