This little book is a Lenten journey with a difference.
His journey our journey follows the journey of Jesus to Jerusalem using daily readings from Luke.
With each passage there is reflection written by a trainee minister. The reflection is very personal as the writer uses their own experience to add insight to the bible passage.
A lot of what God has taught them in their own lives comes through giving the book its relaxed style and appeal.
Thus the title is very apt as we have Jesus’ journey and the journey of forty-seven men and women following their call to ministry.
At the end of each day is a short prayer.
His journey our journey can be used as a starter for small groups or for individual quiet times. It is very readable and appropriate for all age groups.
Apparently a similar book has been published every year since 2000 and is very popular due to its personal touch.
