I hadn't heard of Indie music before, but this album is in a folk style, with guitar and simple instrumentals backing the husky whispering vocals of Greg Atwells.

The hymns have been arranged as ballads, and Atwells gives clear enunciation of the all-important lyrics.

All of my favourites are here: "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus", "Holy Holy, Holy", "Be Thou My Vision", "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross", "Nothing But the Blood", "Amazing Grace", "I Surrender All", "Take My Life and Let It Be", "I Need Thee Every Hour", and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing".

The album has a consistent modulation throughout, making it suitable for meditation, and the individual hymns would be great in worship, and more engaging than chants.
