This movie is great. It is funny, it’s sad (because it’s true), but most of all it is real and is relevant to our church today.

The writer/director is a follower who loves Jesus and wants the world to see the Jesus he follows and not the one the church sometimes portrays.

The blurb appropriately summarised the movie as this: "Fed up with the divisive bumper sticker mentality overtaking America director (and follower) Dan Merchant donned his Bumper Sticker Man suit and set out on the daring search for meaningful dialogue and true face of faith”.

USA Today described it as "Michael Moore-meets-Monty Python. A humorous and heartfelt examination of the culture wars".
Christianity Today said: "What makes the film so powerful is its intractable ability to embrace both the baby and bathwater."
Both comments are very apt.

I recommend this movie to all followers who are serious about the message of Jesus that we give to those around us.
Even though the film is American, Australian viewers aren’t let off the hook.

We can’t just say the examples don’t apply to us, because the conversation that he creates does.

A must see!
