This endearing publication will delight the very young and touch the hearts of adults.
The concept of having a nine piece jigsaw on one side of each page makes this book a tactile adventure as well as introducing young children to the well known biblical story.
The pieces are chunky enough for little hands.
The whole book is vibrant with colour culminating on the last page with a magnificent rainbow. Pages are heavy board for the real possibility of rough handling.
Illustrations by Ms Elliott will have children enthralled, while identification of the species contained on these pages enlarges their world and vocabulary.
Author Ms Goodings has simply written the four line text on each of the six pages in poetic form.
As children become familiar with this story it is easy to imagine them learning this version of the Noah story by heart.
Children will be artistically and skillfully introduced to the love and care of God.
Highly recommended for the very young.
