I handed My very First Easter Playtime Activity Book to my 5-year-old grandson whose eyes lit up but his little 3-year-old sister decided it should be hers.

Fortunately we had another one for him that required some reading ability and was suitable for his age group.

It showed me that the book was immediately desirable for little ones.

While the cover said the book was not suitable for children less than 36 months old, Cecilia loved it.

Its activities, consisting mainly of stickers, were suitable for her, but she does know her numbers. The stories were appropriate for her age as were the prayers.

The pictures are bright and attractive and proved a winner.

The activities consisted of a lot of matching pairs, finding the differences in the pictures, and putting Easter eggs and numbers on the pages.

The activities unfortunately did not focus on the Easter story, but on the Easter bunny and Easter eggs.

Because the book did need to be read to her it was probably more suitable for her older brother, but then, she managed. An older child would not have found it the challenge that she did.

It is always hard to find appropriate material with a Christian emphasis for the children, so this is highly recommended.
