Artist at Christmas Festival in Beerwah

Talented Story telling Artist Lynton Allan featured at Glasshouse Country Uniting Church’s "Follow the Star" Christmas Festival in December.

For the past 20 years Lynton Allan’s passion has been to take art off the wall and inspire audiences by performing live with his combination of visual art and creative storytelling. He is inspired by the diverse Australian landscape and its people.

The main church building was decorated with scenes from Christmases around the World: USA, Poland, Japan, Greece, Scotland & Russia and there was also a display of Nativity Scenes. The Prayer Tree was a place for reflection and thinking of others, or placing prayer requests in stars on the tree.

Lynton and the church ensemble entertained those relaxing in the outdoor Starlight Coffee Shoppe, while the kids did craft and handwork in the Kid’s Kave under the guidance of UC Ministry Student Luke Smallwood and our Dot Com Youth Group.

This was the Glasshouse congregation’s way of reaching out with Christian love to the local Community.
