Housing Advocacy Day

Susan Helyar and Hannah Cormick from the National Office and Chris Talbot from UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide will be attending the Australia Fair Housing Advocacy Day at Parliament House next Wednesday 24 September.

The morning will involve presentations from housing experts and key politicians including the Minister for Housing, Tanya Plibersek and the Australian Greens Whip and spokesperson on housing Rachel Siewert, as well as a session on lobbying tips. In the afternoon participants will break into small groups to meet with politicians individually.

The day is being held with the support of National Shelter, the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), the Community Housing Federation of Australia (CHFA) and Homelessness Australia.
