IT turns 138 years old this year, so little wonder the Pimpama Uniting Church is in need of a little tender loving care.
The historic building has been re-stumped at a cost of $20,000, but still needs further work to be restored to its former glory.
Church member Margaret Kindt said the project was more than two-thirds finished.
“We have a bit of landscaping and drainage, painting and minor restorations before we’re finished,” she said.
