Youth Interfaith Leadership Institute nominations open

The Griffith University Multi-Faith Centre has opened nominations for participants in their 2009 project, Youth Interfaith Leadership Institute.

For four days in July, the project will bring together 30 college or university students aged 18 to 30 who have been nominated by faith and religious communities and organisations.

The aim of the group is to not only deepen understanding of the basic teachings and practices of diverse faiths and promote skills for dialogue, but also to form a network of Queensland youth leaders who want to work with their faith communities in expanding interfaith dialogue and action for building peace in Queensland society.

Nominations close on Friday 15 May.
