Christmas message from the General Secretary

As the Church journeys through the season of Advent on its way to Christmas, it is good to be reminded of the enormity of God’s gift of love and life in Jesus Christ whose coming we anticipate and celebrate.

This year has again been a year of considerable challenge for many working in the Synod, in Presbyteries, in Congregations and in Agencies.

I have again been privileged to work with people who know they have been grasped by God’s grace which finds expression in strong commitment and service.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the work of the Synod over the past twelve months and wish you all God’s richest blessing during this wonderful season of Advent and God’s continuing guidance throughout the coming year.
