2004 Stable on the Strand main stage
In conjunction with Stable on the Strand, Townsville’s city-wide Christmas festival, the SOS Film Competition seeks to give people the opportunity to communicate the Christian message of the Bible through a modern, entertaining medium, as well as demonstrate the relevance and role of the Bible in an increasingly technical society.

Filmmakers can enter their films into the SOS Film Competition, and have the opportunity to win some great prizes, as well as seeing their film played in front of thousands of people across North Queensland.

Entrants are asked to find a bible verse featuring the word "Truth" and write a short film based on that verse. Films are expected to fit under one of eight categories allowed.
