Moreton Bay College tops QLD OPs

The full list of 2008 OP figures, released by the Queensland Studies Authority today, shows private girls’ school Moreton Bay College tops the state for academic achievement in schools that have more than 50 OP-eligible students.

The bayside school had 97 per cent of eligible students achieve an OP 15 or better.

All Hallows’ School in inner Brisbane followed closely behind on 96 per cent, with Brisbane Girls’ Grammar on 95 per cent.

Despite being outdone by the girls, a number of boys’ GPS schools showed marked improvement.
